What is Community Participation?
NDIS community participation helps participants take part in social, recreational, and community activities that build confidence, skills, and meaningful relationships. It is funded under the NDIS Core Supports budget and is designed around your interests, goals, and the life you want to live.
At Bridging Abilities, our NDIS community participation services on the Central Coast support you to get out and about in your community — whether that is joining a local sports group, attending art or music classes, volunteering, or simply catching up with friends. Our support workers are there to help you feel comfortable, included, and in control.
We take a person-centred approach to community participation. That means we listen to what matters to you, match you with activities and support workers that fit your personality, and help you build the independence to participate more over time.
